There is a day room for patients and relatives with television facilities.

For friends and relatives wishing to send mail please address it to the ward and we will ensure it is passed on.

The Patient Line card vending machine is located in the main concourse but TV and phone packages can easily be purchased on the set itself. If your Patient Line isn’t working please follow the instructions on the screen.

Clothing and laundry

For infection control reasons we are unable to launder patient’s clothes and ask that relatives take responsibility for the laundering of patients clothes.

Do not feel that you have to wear pyjamas all the time. You are free to wear your day clothes and mobilise around the ward as you are able to. The team will encourage you to “get up, get dressed and get active” so that you can recover back to your normal routine as quickly as possible.
