Blood donors required for studies on white blood cell function
Linsey Porter, a PhD student within the dept of Medicine, is recruiting for volunteers who are willing to donate between 80-240ml of blood for studies on white blood cell function.

The National Health Service was set up on 5 July 1948. The primary aim was to provide healthcare for everyone in the UK - free of charge.

The Hospital Archives holds material relating to the history of the hospital from its opening in 1766 as well as some relating to the other United Cambridge Hospitals and the Rosie. There will be a display of material celebrating the first 60 years of the NHS in Cambridge in the Concourse on the 12th November.
