Main benefits of an apprenticeship at CUH:

  • Gain qualifications

  • Earn a salary

  • Get paid holidays and bank holidays

  • Receive training and support in post

  • Receive a thorough induction and regular review sessions

  • You will be designated a mentor to help guide your apprenticeship

  • Learn job-specific skills

  • Gain exposure to the vast array of job and career opportunities at CUH and the NHS

If you are aged 16 – 24 years old read on to find out what opportunities are available and for information on how to apply.

“I have had a great time doing this Apprenticeship scheme and being able to work like a normal secretary but gaining a qualification throughout is a great opportunity. I have been made very welcome in the Trust and have met lots of new people throughout the hospital. The work can be challenging but it is also very interesting learning about the department I am in and what needs to be done to keep the hospital and departments running. Everyone plays a huge part, even myself. I would definitely recommend the Apprenticeship scheme here at Addenbrookes.” – Sophie Bateman
