'Movember' in the Physio department

16 November, 2009

If you've been wondering why certain physiotherapists have been sporting unusual facial hair recently, it's for a very good cause.

physiotherapists

A group of male physiotherapists at Addenbrooke's are taking part in a charity event called "Movember" for the whole of this month.

The annual international event aims to raise money and awareness about men's health, including prostate cancer, and involves men growing a moustache for the whole month. Any sort of moustache theme is permitted - indeed, the wackier the better.

The team were granted a one-off exemption to the "clean shaven" rule, and are already sporting fine examples - as these pictures show.

Please click through to the team's Movember site and donate to this worthy cause.
