Race for Life road closures this Sunday, 4 July, 0800-1300 hrs

Staff, patients and public should be aware that the following roads will be closed from 0800hrs on Sunday 04 July until the event has finished or 1300hrs, whichever is the earlier:

 

Park Terrace, Regent Street, St Andrews Street, Downing Street, Peas Hill, Sidney Street, Jesus Lane, Thompson Lane, Bridge Street, Market Street, Bene't Street, Emmanuel Street, Hobson Street, Sussex Street, Magdalene Street, Market Hill, Corn Exchange, Kings Parade, Trinity Street, St Johns Street, Green Street and Silver Street.

 

Access to properties affected will be maintained, and will not apply to any vehicle being used by the police, fire and or ambulance service during the execution of their duties.

 

The alternative route for vehicles is Gonville Place – Parkside – Newnham Road – Fen Causeway – Trumpington Street – Pembroke Street – Chesterton Lane – Chesterton Road – Victoria Avenue – Jesus Lane - and Park Street.

 

 

A team of four nurses from L4 will be running in Race for Life this Sunday, supporting the work they do for patients with gynaecological cancer and breast cancer. Nicola Collis, Acting Senior Sister, says "If anyone would like to come to support us or sponsor us we would be very grateful.
