Finding Clinic 3

 

From the Outpatients entrance: go through the Outpatients reception area. Turn right onto the main corridor leading to the hospital concourse. When you reach the first set of stairs/lift on the left hand side, go up to the third floor. On the third floor landing, turn right onto the long corridor. Clinic 3 is located a short way down the corridor on your left hand side.

The Cataract Clinic is part of the national plan to modernise hospital cataract services across the country and reduce lengthy waiting times. More than 1,500 patients a year have cataract surgery at Addenbrooke's: as a result, 90 per cent of these people report a dramatic improvement to their quality of life. With the new facilities, patients can expect faster, more convenient care, in a clinic specifically designed for people with visual impairment.
