About the Discharge Lounge

There is a television, newspapers, magazines and a small selection of games and books available.

 

Hot meals are available at 12pm (limited to three options). Light meals can be ordered if meals are missed. Sandwiches are available in the evening and hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day.

 

Co-ordination of your discharge will be taken over by the staff in the lounge they will collect all medications and supplements required on discharge. They will communication with the relevant people to ensure you travel to your discharge destination safely. This may mean travelling in a taxi with a nurse escort.
