The Emmeline Centre for Hearing Implants is a service which provides surgically implanted hearing technology to adults and children for whom hearing aids do not provide sufficient benefit.


Finding the department

The entrance to the Emmeline centre can now be found opposite the main bus station near the Hills Road entrance to the hospital.


From the main Outpatients’ Entrance walk round the outside of the hospital towards the Bus Station until you reach Clinic 14 (Ophthalmology). Enter through the main Clinic 14 entrance. The route will be signposted to the Emmeline Centre.


Existing patients – please do not use the temporary entrance to the Emmeline Centre via Oncology.
