Comic Relief 2011

So it was that time of year again, time to wear those red noses and do ridiculous things all in the name of charity. The Medical Genetics department decided to give themselves an excuse to dress up as Cowgirls and Cowboys with everyone donating money for the privilege.

 

 

However, the fund-raising efforts didn’t end there, with a Comic Relief sweepstake and a number of people kindly bringing in home made cakes, scones, biscuits and sausage rolls, we were able to raise even more.

 

Thank you and well done to everyone who donated, baked and came to work looking like they were from the Wild West – we managed to raise an impressive £188 for a very worthy cause!
