The Department of Medical Physics & Clinical Engineering provides a comprehensive range of scientific and technical services to support the treatment of patients, both within Cambridge University Hospitals and through a range of specialist services provided to other Trusts in East Anglia

 

Physicists, engineers and technicians offer services ranging from managing over 12,400 items of highly specialised medical equipment, to providing specialist advice on the safe use of radiation, and providing essential physics support for radiotherapy treatments for patients with cancer.
