Where can I get advice about pregnancy and contraception?

You can be given advice and tested free at:

  • A family planning clinic, such as The Laurels - Contraception & Sexual Health Service

  • SHAC, at Clinic 1A at Addenbrooke's.

  • The surgery of your general practitioner, G.P.

  • A young person's clinic, Brook Advisory Clinic, although there isn't one in Cambridge.

  • CENTRE 33, Cambridge, pregnancy testing is available, confidential counselling and information service for people aged 16–25. Tel: 01223 316 488

 

 

Where can I get a pregnancy test?

In addition to getting tested at the places listed above, you can also buy pregnancy tests from all pharmacists, chemists. You can then test yourself at home, usually by dipping a coloured stick in your urine.
