Apprenticeships

Working in Facilities management could involve a number of roles, including gardener, maintenance and environmental services assistant. Work could involve performing work of a routine non-complex nature, responsible for minor repairs and routine planned maintenance activities as directed by management.

 

Job details:

  • An Apprenticeship lasts for 14 months and you will be employed by Cambridge University Hospitals on a 14 month fixed-term contract.

  • You will study towards a NVQ level 2 and be fully supported in role with the aid of a mentor in your department and the Young Persons team. You will also gain a technical certificate and work experience through your Apprenticeship.

  • You will be paid £100 a week for the first six months, and £120 a week for the remaining 8 months
