The Rosie Hospital

As a regional specialist treatment centre, and in providing general paediatric care to our local population, the Children’s Services division is a wide-ranging and highly respected service. Providing excellent care across medical and surgical specialities with an ethos of child centred care and multi professional collaboration as a priority.
Our approach
The Children’s Services team holds a strong belief in collaborative multi-professional and family focused team work. This is generously supported with a diverse range of dedicated paediatric psycho-social and clinical support services to children, their families and staff.
Training and Development
Staff are supported by a well established practice development team including clinical practice facilitators based clinically in all inpatient areas, clinical research nurses, and clinical nurse specialist and consultants. A newly developed rotation programme commenced in September 2009 which will include general and specialist areas.
Career opportunities
Support and development opportunities are key elements in our philosophy of providing the best care to our patients and in valuing our staff. Development opportunities at a local and national level are actively encouraged, role and identified career progression. Our local education provider - Anglia Ruskin University - offers many level 3 and 4 modules relevant to our speciality.
