Volunteer applications: temporarily closed to new applicants
Update 13 May 2013: Due to significant recent interest in volunteering at Cambridge University Hospitals, we are temporarily closed to new applicants.
Volunteers at CUH provide an invaluable service, and are a great asset. They help us make life easier for both our patients and their families, by supporting our staff in providing a direct service to patients, or by helping out behind the scenes. Each year, 700 volunteers give up their free time on a regular basis to help patients throughout the Trust.
Volunteer roles are constantly changing and, whist it is not possible to guarantee a specific role, if you have a preferred role in mind be sure to state this on your application form. For examples of volunteer roles please see the Volunteer Opportunities page for the possible roles available.
