Your views needed: help us to shape the Trust’s Single Equality Scheme

Cambridge University Hospitals is consulting on its draft Single Equality Scheme and action plan until 31 March 2009.

 

The draft Single Equality Scheme and action plan sets out the Trust’s clear commitment to promoting equality and diversity and highlights how the Trust will tackle inequality and improve the circumstances and experience for our patients, public and staff.

 

The scheme and action plan will replace the current race, disability and gender equality schemes, to fulfil its public equality duties under the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, Disability Discrimination Amendment Act 2005 and Sex Discrimination Act as amended by the Equality Act 2006 and also covers age, religion or belief, sexual orientation and human rights.
