The Deakin Centre was officially opened this week by Daphne Deakin - the wife of former Cambridge University Hospital's Trust chairman Tony who the centre is named in honour of.

Dr Asif Zia is a Consultant Psychiatrist in Learning Disability, and is also Clinical Director for Specialist Services with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. He has extensive experience in diagnosing autistic spectrum disorders nationally through the CLASS clinic in Cambridge.
