You are invited to our next Medicine for Members lecture on 16 February 2012 entitled ‘Violence – a role for health?’ by Dr Adrian Boyle, Consultant, Emergency Medicine. The lecture will give an insight into novel interventions that reduce the burden of inter-personal violence.
Adrian Boyle has been a Consultant Emergency Physician at Addenbrookes Hospital and Honorary Visiting Senior Research Fellow at Cambridge University since 2005. His main research interests are around preventing violent injuries and improving care in hospital emergency departments. He has published over 40 original papers on care in Emergency Departments. He acts as an advisor to both the previous government and the coalition.’
