Cambridge University Health Partners is a new organisation which has been set up to drive forward the partnership between the National Health Service (NHS) and the University of Cambridge.
Cambridge University Health Partners is one of only five Academic Health Science Centres in England recognised by the Department of Health as internationally competitive centres of excellence in the integrated delivery of health care, health research and the education of health professionals.
The NHS organisations in the partnership are those that work most closely with the University in performing research and education and that involve academic doctors in the delivery of their services: Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Trust, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Cambridge University Health Partners is a strategic partnership aiming to improve patient care, patient outcomes and population health through innovation and the integration of service delivery, health research and clinical education.
