The Trust's business and how we operate
The alignment of our corporate objectives and clinical Governance framework with the Department of Health's Standards for Better Health has created a clear focus for the operation and development of services.
We now have effective monitoring systems for a wide range of performance factors; and have processes in place for measuring and improving patient safety standards.
These new approaches to managing performance together with the use of the Standards for Better Health form the basis of the self-assessment component of the Care Quality Commission's annual heath check review.
