The Rosie Hospital
The Trust provides a variety of on-site accommodation, which is managed by Sanctuary Housing Association.
Sanctuary manages more than 500 units of residential accommodation at the Trust’s main site, on behalf of the Trust. On site accommodation is available to people who work on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and so employment on the site has to be confirmed before applications are made to Sanctuary Housing.
In addition, Sanctuary has rentable accommodation in four new buildings as well as Grantchester House – all of which are based on the Trust’s main site. This is available to anyone who is working across the Addenbrooke’s site, regardless of your direct employer (terms and conditions apply).
The new £20m purpose-built, state-of-the-art apartments were officially opened on the hospital site in 2010 and provide convenient living in 292 fully furnished en-suite rooms.
Spread across four buildings which are named after local villages – Kingston, Linton, Milton and Newton, the range of apartments include between one and six bedrooms, with a shared kitchen and living area – there are also two self contained single-occupancy flats suitable for wheelchairs.
Grantchester House is situated on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and has 214 rooms, which are divided over 54, four-bedroomed apartments, each with a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.
The rent for Grantchester House accommodation is inclusive of all utilities and council tax.
