If you have been bereaved at Addenbrooke's or the Rosie, Bereavement Care Services is here to help and support you. Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything you would like to talk through. You can contact us on the numbers below, via your ward, or through the Bereavement Care Services office

 

 

Who can help at Addenbrooke's?

 

  • Ward staff are available to help and support you. They can also put you in touch with other support agencies in the hospital.

  • The Bereavement Care Services Office is there to help you sort out practical issues after bereavement.

You can also get help from your own general practitioner (GP) or perhaps your local minister or faith group leader.

 

 

Information for the bereaved

 

Bereavement Care Services publish:

  • a leaflet 'After Bereavement', which is offered to people who have been bereaved - this has sources of information, advice, and support at Addenbrooke's Hospital

  • a 'Directory of Bereavement Care' in printed folders, CDs and an online version, which can be printed below. This is mainly for health and care professionals.
