Are you interested in working in the NHS? Do you have a positive, can do approach? Are you willing to go the extra mile for our patients and demonstrate commitment to our services?
As a health cadet, you will gain experience in a range of areas of the hospital e.g. wards, clinics, laboratories and support services.
As a cadet you will undertake work experience and training and receive an allowance of £30 per week for the first 12 weeks. On successful completion you will proceed to become an apprentice with a salary of £100 per week for the next 6 months rising to £120 per week for the remaining 3 months, along with a range of other employee benefits.
You will receive mentoring, training and assistance, regular contact with pastoral care and support.
The places for this current scheme have been filled. This scheme may run again next year so please check back for further information regarding vacancies.
As an apprentice you will work toward a nationally recognised qualification, get on the job training and support with future job searching skills to improve your further employment prospects.
