CUH welcomes £3m Budget announcement to support long term health plans

Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has announced £3 million for Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to develop its long term plans for healthcare on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

It is part of a wider investment in life sciences and economic growth in the Cambridge area, and will enable CUH to develop plans to meet the health needs of the existing and planned new population, and to ensure the hospital can continue to play its full part in the success of the CBC.

The investment will help ensure we can respond to the needs of our existing population as well as developing plans for the longer term, and we look forward to working on this with health and care system partners.
