5,000 babies born at the Rosie Birth Centre… and counting!

01 December 2016
Families and Rosie staff came together to celebrate an important milestone for the Rosie Birth Centre – 5,000 babies being born at the centre since it opened in September 2012.

Head of midwifery Anna Shasha and the team welcomed families who have had babies at the Birth Centre for afternoon tea and cake and put on quite a spread.

Anna Shasha said: “It’s great to celebrate over 5,000 babies born in our Birth Centre and welcome so many mums, dads and babies to help us celebrate with great cake and great company.

“Women are so lucky to be able to give birth in a lovely environment such as the Birth Centre and the feedback we have from families is incredible.

“This milestone wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of midwives, maternity support workers, admin staff, cleaners and so many more who play a big part.”
