Title of talk: “Stem Cells and Cardiovascular Repair”

 

Charles E. Murry is a physician-scientist who directs the UW’s Center for Cardiovascular Biology and co-directs its Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. He has extensive experience in leading team-based science, including being PI of a Program Project Grant and co-PI of a Bioengineering Research Partnership, both of which were successfully renewed.  Murry is a practicing cardiovascular pathologist with expertise in human disease, molecular biology, cardiovascular stem cell biology, tissue engineering and integrative physiology and imaging.
