£110 million health research fund confirms elite biomedical status for CUH
Cambridge University Hospitals and the University of Cambridge have been awarded a record share of an £800 million government research fund, confirming the city’s status as one of the country’s elite Biomedical Research Centres.
This is the last week you can apply for the BUPA Foundation awards for 2011. The awards focus on recognition for excellent completed work by aspiring and promising new researchers in the early phases of their careers. There are four awards for 2011, each worth £15,000, for completed research and/or development conducted over the past three years into one of four themes that are:
The awards are open to clinicians, researchers and health care professionals who are UK residents only. Only completed projects are eligible for submission. The closing date for applications is 1 July 2011.
