The Rosie Hospital
We are seeing a rise in the number of cases of norovirus (winter vomitng bug). Visiting restrictions are in place.
Do you remember the Queen's visit to "New Addenbrooke's" in 1962?
We would like to hear from anyone who can share their experience of the royal visit. Were you there? Did you see the Queen?

Expecting a baby? Help train medical staff
If you are pregnant and your baby is due to arrive between November 2011 and early March 2012 you can help train medical students.
A baby with a special connection to the Rosie Hospital was born here today.
Frederick Albert Robinson is the great-great-grandson of Rosie Robinson – the woman who gave Cambridge’s first purpose-built maternity hospital her name.
Mum Jo Robinson was very happy with the care they received, saying: “We knew we were in extremely safe hands as soon as we arrived. The staff have all been amazingly supportive.”
Sir David Robinson – Rosie’s son – was the local philanthropist who donated £3 million for the hospital project, which opened in 1983. He was the great-uncle of Frederick’s dad, James Robinson.
James said: “David Robinson would definitely have approved of the Rosie if he could be here today. Everyone has been brilliant, and it still feels as though there’s a family connection.”
