Do you remember the Queen's visit to "New Addenbrooke's" in 1962?
We would like to hear from anyone who can share their experience of the royal visit. Were you there? Did you see the Queen?
Construction is progressing well and the project remains on track to complete at the end of June 2012.
Photovoltaic (solar) panels have been installed on the existing Rosie roof. The panels will create 10% of the electricity required to power the new extension. The steel frame for the plant room on the roof of the extension has been built, and over the coming weeks some of the large pieces of equipment will be lifted into place.

Inside the building excellent progress is being made. All of the internal partition walls are now in place, and the installation of mechanical and electrical services is very well advanced. External windows and doors are being fitted on all levels, and the high level link between the existing Delivery Unit and level 3 of the extension has been built.
