Rosie Extension – phase 2

The Rosie project steering group is currently reviewing the plans for the refurbishment of an area on level 3 of the Rosie that will be vacated when activity is transferred into the new extension. The ‘phase 2’ plans include the creation of an operating theatre suite and additional antenatal / postnatal beds.

Following a review of the requirements, a business plan will be submitted to the Capital Advisory Board for their consideration. The remaining vacated space within the Rosie will be subject to a separate evaluation process.

Further details will be made available on how this space is to be allocated, in due course.
