A communication aid for patients in hospital

A multilingual and illustrated guide for use by patients and staff:

 

This illustrated booklet has been produced to help with the communication between patients and hospital staff. The phrases have been translated from English into a number of different languages Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Czech, Farsi, French, Gujarati, Hindi, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Somali, Swahili, Turkish and Urdu. Many of the phrases are represented pictorially and therefore could be used by any patient experiencing communication difficulty.
