Who can have their baby at the Rosie Birth Centre?

Having a baby at the Rosie Birth Centre is suitable for women who:

• Go into labour between 37 and 42 weeks of pregnancy
  
  

• Expecting their first baby or have previously had five babies or less.
  
  

• Have no health problems before or after their pregnancy that need special help
  
  

• Have not experienced any complications in this pregnancy that requires additional monitoring of either you or your baby.
  
  

• Have had no complications in previous pregnancies or labours (such as previous caesarean section) that may affect the current pregnancy or birth.
