Instructions for ‘Lucozade Challenge Test’ at 28 weeks
Drink 273 mls Original Lucozade within a 5 minute period (this is not a full bottle; you will need to measure it out).
Remember what time you finished the Lucozade.
Do not eat or drink anything for an hour.
The blood test is taken 1 hour after you finished drinking the Lucozade.
Please arrive at the Rosie Phlebotomy Department at least 10 minutes before your blood test is due to enable us to complete your paperwork.
If you are unable to drink your Lucozade before coming to the Rosie, the Rosie Phlebotomy Department can provide this for you.
