Staff awards

Our way staff award schemes aim to reward and recognise staff who make a difference in the workplace. There are currently three staff award schemes in place:

• You made a difference – awarded to staff who have been nominated by patients, visitors or colleagues for making a difference to them. Nominate someone for You made a difference.


• Staff suggestion scheme – awarded to staff who come up with ideas or suggestions to improve the way we work and how to better our service.
  
  
• Great ideas in action – this scheme recognises innovation and effectiveness. Staff members are invited to let us know about something new or exciting that has made a real, measurable difference to the Trust or our service. This must have been in action for at least six months and it should support our priorities and values.

These awards:

• Value and recognise staff for their contribution.
• Highlight good practice.
• Encourage innovation, good ideas and service improvement.
• Reinforce Our way, Our priorities and Our values across all areas of the Trust.
