Dr Brent O'Carrigan

Consultant medical oncologist

I am a medical oncology consultant treating patients with melanoma or kidney cancer, leading a portfolio of cancer clinical trials.

My current role

I work with fantastic medical and nursing teams to care for and treat patients with melanoma or kidney cancer.

I also work with outstanding clinical trials teams to run clinical studies to improve their care, share the oversight or research into kidney / prostate / bladder cancer on our campus and lead the national UK portfolio of academic research into melanoma and skin cancers.

  • Masters in medicine, clinical trials (University of Sydney)
  • Clinical trials fellowship (Royal Marsden, London)
  • PhD in translational cancer research (University of Cambridge, in process)

Personal interests

Father to 3 young kids, travel, cycling, swimming (when time permits!)
