Dr Emily Staples

Consultant immunologist

I am clinical lead for immunology at CUH. I also work at Peterborough city hospital where I do a CUH satellite immunology clinic and have responsibility for the immunology laboratory.

My current role

My clinical role involves diagnosis and management of disorders of the immune system, particularly immune deficiency.

Previous history

I was an undergraduate in Cambridge (preclinical) and Oxford (clinical).

I did most of my immunology training in Nottingham and moved to Cambridge to complete my training as a clinical lecturer. As a clinical lecturer I was part of the NIHR bioresource primary immune deficiency team.
